What is Astral Projection?

Astral Projection is the process of separating oneself from the physical body in trance states in order to visit other planes, times or locations.

To be able to Astral project you need to be able to achieve a state of meditation where the brainwaves are functioning in Alpha state.

During meditation the brain enters an altered state of consciousness - known as 'alpha' - a state also entered during deep relaxation and dreaming. In the alpha state the brain waves register at between seven and fourteen cycles per second.

This is close to the frequency of the Earth itself and through the practise of meditation it becomes possible to enter into "alpha" and to experience alternative realities.

Whilst in the Alpha state it is possible to develop your latent psychic powers and one can experience telepathy, precognition (looking into the future), clairvoyance, past life regression and even time travel.

It is in the alpha state that we are able to enter and explore other planes of reality (including the astral and spiritual planes) creating the possibility of exploring the unseen energies that exist all around us, rather than the world that we are familiar with.

Alpha is a state where we can expand into the vibrationary rates of the other planes of existence. This is the state where occultists work "Magick"

How can I learn to Astral Project?

Traditionally this is the biggest obstacle for many people, for to be able to Astral project you need to reach the required Alpha brainwave state. There are a great many books out there that can teach you how to do it (and free tutorials that can easily be found on the internet) a good example is the Monroe, technique, but there are many others.

I personally have used the Monroe technique with some success, but it took me several years to master and if I hadn't been so determined to Astral project, I think I would have given up long ago!
